• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What I Got at SF 2013

Semper Fi

Young Devil Dawg looking good and he can shoot too. Semper Fi Marine and welcome to the Corps.

Being a MOGANG member, we haven't had much time in the past to interact with all of the people on SL during SpyderFest. Now that Len has opened his own shop, we are changing many ways of the planning of this event. Logistically, it's a bear. We try to learn from what went right and what didn't. Then, the following year doubles the amount of attendees and we are back to playing 'catch up'.
Having said that, here's what I was able to get done while setting up the fire works for opening and closing ceremonies.

Sue Hopper put a nice Eagle, Globe & Anchor on my frunk lid.

I went to order my Ultimate Seat from Des, and lo and behold, he had the exact seat that I wanted on display! I got it.

Reggy at www.TricLED.com is now the U.S. Distributor for Vertika Trykes after market parts. They are absolutely gorgeous! I bought a set from him and had them painted, and they look pretty awesome on the bike!
See my DIY article on paint codes at http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?52615-Paint-Match-For-BRP-s-Viper-Red

...And last, but not least, I brought my Marine home on Saturday morning (after graduating basic at San Diego on Friday) and my youngest graduated high school two days later.

It doesn't get much better than that!!!

A suggestion on the air vents

I painted the area under the air vents black to give them more depth, I never expect them to come off. If not up for painting I'm sure the folks at power sport wraps could put something together.

Damn nice looking bike! Thank you for serving

Thank you for your post, nice mods on your RT. I don't know where you found the time to get these things done, you were always on the go everytime I saw you. Great looking family too, proud of your Marine.

Thanks All

Thank you for the support of my sons. The bike is secondary to keep my mind off of what they are going to be doing. I just hope I can afford to keep my mind of off them, LOL!
See you all at SF 2014:thumbup:

I don't know how you guys did it. Spyderfest & then out to San Diego & back again, all in about 2 weeks. Great job on everything, Spyder & kids. Keep up the good work.

Just to set the record straight!!! Had to go back to work to get some rest. SF was non stop go from when we left home on Friday, Apr 19, till when we got home Sunday, Apr 28!! San Diego was somewhat a vacation, although it was very emotional!! If you haven't been through a military graduation, oh wow!!! It was awesome. Unfortunately, Austin's letters were few and far between, plus he missed the two options to call home. So 13 weeks, and the last letter we got was week and a half before SF. So seeing him during the 4 mile run, 20 feet away and you can't go give him a hug!!! Dad and Grandma got the hugs before step mom and that was just fine. I was told "Don't get tears on my uniform"!!!

We send him back to the Marines on Monday back to CA to finish some training the probably to Florida after that.

Again, thank you everyone for your kind words.

Plus I think what Kev meant to say was see you at SF 2014!!!!

Love to all
