• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What Honda exhaust gaskets are being used on Spyder.

I am sure someone has the part number, but yes they do work. I switched to the Honda exhaust gaskets after my BRP ones disintegrated at about 10000 miles.

Never heard of this before, I wonder how someone figured out they would fit in the first place.

The RT does not use the same gaskets, and it is not prone to the y-pipe gasket problems the early GS model had.

The dealer had to replace both y-pipe gaskets when they did the recall. One of the gaskets was shot but the tech changed both to be on the safe side. This was part of the reason the canister melted. I think these gaskets are probably inferior quality.

It is possible, but it would be a supplier problem or an assembly problem since they have been reliable until now on the RT. There is no substitute, so you will have to learn to live with them.

Snoopy you have to start reading the RS/GS forums. Lots of good info there and applicable to all Spyders. Those folks are much more aggressive in there changes than the RT owners. Probably a side affect of riding a more sportier spyder.
