What Hand Guards and Heated Seat Pads do you guys have on an F3 Limited? Any ideas?

Hoping to make it to Sturgis/Yellowstone/Grand Tetons this year, coming from Atlanta. I'd love to have a heated seat pad just in case it gets chilly on some of our rides; I don't want to drop a grand or more on a seat since I'd rarely use it once back home in the South. Ideas?

I'd also like to get the wind off my hands. What have you guys done on an F3 Limited?

Check with Lamonster and see if he has the hand guards for a F3. Get some good wind and waterproof gloves, that will make a huge difference for your hands. Not those cheap gloves you see advertised for skiing. Those never worked for me to keep my hands warm.

As mentioned above, a good pair of waterproof gloves along with the heated grips your bike has will go a long way. That time of the year the temps are not that bad.

My '20 F3 L has a Madstad F3-20 windshield that keeps my hands shielded, and it, along with my gloves and heated grips, results in me never having a cold weather problem. A lot of my riding is at 8,500 to 9,500 ft elevation and that can get cold, even when its nice riding around our Home at 4,600 ft elevation. An excellent windscreen BTW.

Went on a ride yesterday afternoon to study the wind on the hands at various speeds, I guess that I never payed attention before and noticed that my Madstad F3-20 wondscreen essentially kept the wind off my hands as it directs the airflow, even at 85 MPH, to the outermost tip of the hand grips. I have heated gloves, but have never needed them on my Spyder, again, it's an F3-L. I get no buffeting or issue of any kind with my windscreen at any speed.
