What footwear do you use?

I wear bates that I get from the local Navy Base. They hold a good shine just like my :spyder:.

I wear Original SWAT 1232 Men's Air 9" Side Zip MTO Duty Boot. My wife has the Original SWAT 1152F Women's 9" Side Zip Duty Boot.

Good comfort while riding and walking around.

Chris, I tried my cowboy boots but have trouble with my brake pedal. Probably because I have Seal floor board and operate the brake pedal with my right heel (just realized that).

For me: Engineer style riding boots--mine have some heel and toe trim for bling.

When raining or cold: Sidi waterproof riding boots.

Alpine Stars Harlem Air Boot...full leather version. I ride to work every day, so it's perfect. I leave my nice work shoes in my office, and wear the boots to & from. They have zippers to remove them, so there's no messing with laces. Plus they give me full ankle protection and heat protection which I like.

I wear SPI "Fusion" They were on sale at a local powersports dealer . They are leather,have steel toes ,ankle protectors and have no heels as they are for sport bikes . They are also very easy to put on . They help stop ypour right foot from getting hot and I find them very comfortable as they fit my wide foot very well.

Since I am new to riding I wanted something that would help protect my feet in case of the unthinkable happens so these boots fit my criteria. For all my powersports activities I beleive in dressing in case the unthinkable happens. Just my humble opinion

Riding Shoes

Over the ankle hiking/work shoe. Looking for a cool boot I can afford. I like the Milwaukee or Dingo Boots just need to find a pair that fit my feet and wallet.

When I ride, I wear a full face helmet, long sleeve motorcycle jacket and jeans with gloves. The jacket is heavy mesh and without any liners is cool even here in Central Florida. I know the :spyder2:is very stable, but I've had my pieces parts for over sixty-eight years, and am real attached. I tend to ride as if every other vehicle on the road is out to get me.

Just a pair of shoes that also go to work with me... They're pretty designed heavy and designed to hold the orthotic that protects the bottom of my foot from damage...
Question: How many of us feel that even on a Spyder we should be thinking about protecting our feet from the unthinkable if something goes wrong??

I have worn Cruiser Works motorcycle boots for years on the 2 wheeler. They are comfortable to walk in and are waterproof. Protection of feet and ankles is important. Also any skin exposed on legs and arms has potential for road rash. We never get up saying I'm going to crash today - it just comes so do all you can to put odds in your favor by dressing properly and using a helmet. Hot weather invites the idea to wear less and be more comfortable. WRONG!!:yikes:

We wear All The Gear All The Time. including over-the-ankle boots with toe-protection. Usually CruiserBoots, wellington style.
