• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What exactly does a Sway bar do for riding comfort??

As a new Spyder owner, I met up with others this weekend and I was told in no uncertain terms that I MUST get one of your sway bars fitted! So how do I buy one here in the UK, Ron?

It's one of those 'In or Out' type decisions I guess.

If you can email me at [email protected] that will make it easy. I can invoice you by email for payment with Paypal and get it shipped ASAP.

:welcome: This might sound funny, since I'm such a fan of Ron; but why not ride the bike a bit, and see if YOU think that it needs some help in the turns? :dontknow:

Not 'Funny' at all. I really appreciate customers who ride their Spyder long enough to learn it and get used to it. The sway bar upgrade is usually more impressive to someone who can really compare the before and after.

I'm not here to pressure anyone into anything. I have my opinion and everyone else has theirs. I sell a product and my opinion is biased. (Isn't everyone's?) But it's all good information which, in the end, helps the next guy get a good idea of the spectrum of thought.

Everyone should ride what they want, the way they want it. I'm all for that! Certainly, no hard feelings! :ohyea:

Sway bar has arrived!

I have 200 miles now on the bike, mostly practicing in the twisties. I can feel exactly where the sway bar is going to help. As long as I load the suspension to the outside prior to entering a turn it is reasonably stable. If I don't, it's mid-turn corrections and an unstable feeling throughout the turn. The sway bar is going to help that immensely.

Bajaron was right about one thing for sure: The cornering problems are mostly me. I have come a long way since the first ride and getting better every time I have it out. At this point feel pretty comfortable and am glad I rode the bike before the mods.

Sway bar install and laser alignment scheduled for this weekend.

Great service from Bajaron, BTW. Fast and easy getting the sway bar and links.
