• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What do you use on the flat black pieces?

Hello! And, what do you use on the flat black pieces?

First of all, a bit of an introduction... Just received my Spyder a week ago (only a 1 week wait!). The car has not been out of the garage since! Between the Spyder and the Harley, the car will just not get much attention! I am really enjoying the Spyder, especially after breaking down and getting the new rims yesterday.

I've lurked here for a long time trying to decide if I wanted to take the plunge. Really glad I did and look forward to learning from you.

Now, my question...

I Zaino'd the shiny parts of the Spyder yesterday. What do you recommend for the flat black plastic parts? I don't want any sheen.

Thanks!

don't know what to tell you on the paint. but hang on some will know.

I use Eagle One Nano Wax. (Walmart) It's a spray that doesn't leave any white residue. Just spray on and wipe off. Great for the whole vehicle, even the black plastic parts. I even do the undercarriage with it. No need to wipe it off on areas where you can't see... and it helps protect them from road grime and corrosion.

I use furniture polish. one of the spray waxes. spray it onto a towel and wipe on. it doesnt leave a shine and evens out the color.

I use a product made by turtle wax called "ICE synthetic spray detailer" it's is for between wax applications and between washes. However I am lazy and have not waxed the :spyder:I just wash and use ICE. It is great on the whole :spyder:but supper on the scuff marks on the grab bars and all the flat black parts.

Try it you will like it I use a LOT of it in between washes and its great at getting bugs off.
