• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What do you think?

Hi Darren111,

Re: What do you think?

If one goes buy the sales number for the last 6 or so years, the Spyder should have been the RT from the very beginning.

That IMO seems to be what people want the most.

Me, I like my '08 GS just fine,

Jerry Baumchen

PS) However, it is very futuristic looking; way cool.

Oh yeah! That'll work just great on my pot-holed, slimey soupy, gravel roads! And look at all that storage capacity! Yup, runnin' the back roads and grocery shopping'll be just perfect on that thang! :roflblack:

Sorry! but no

I am into Spyder touring because the rice burning crotch rocket days for me are long gone, as are the big touring bikes that I could no longer get back up alone when dropped (even with the help of the missus, 1200 lbs is a lot). As for the Spyder as a Touring Machine, leave it alone, we long time bikers still need a nice comfortable ride.

Nope!

Not for me. That is the butt ugliest thing I have ever seen on wheels. Could you imagine what would happen if there was a piece of debris in the road. Plastic would go flying everywhere. One trip down my dirt road driveway would destroy that thing.
