• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What do you think all you tech experts??

Saw these on ebay. Looking for something to bring the handle bars closer to me so I don't have to bend over and reach so far...hard on the shoulders. Where is says 1.5 in rise and 4 inch set back from stock does that means it brings it closer to me??

I ran across this & it might be an option- a person put ST bars on their RSS.

I have not heard of that brand before and I don't see any instructions. I used to have a 2009 rs se5 and now have a 2013 rs sm5 and have been looking for risers. What I have found so far is the 2013 handlebars are not like 2012 and before (more like rt handlebars) and I have not found anyone that has installed risers on a 2013 yet. So I would advise caution before spending money.

yes it brings the bars closer to you. I have not heard of this item so have no input. It looks very similar to the Helibar risers for the same price. Helibars are 1" up and 4-1/2" back.

It will not work on a 2013 if it works on a 2012. The 2012 and earlier have a 3 bolt pattern and the 2013 has a 4 bolt pattern. Be very careful when buying aftermarket parts for your 2013. Many companies are not doing the research to make sure the parts fit. Remember if it is listed as a 2012 and 2013 part it more than likely won't fit due to a lot of changes on the 2013.

Yeah..!!

this will bring the bars closer putting you into a more upright position. There are other suppliers for this some are sponsors here. You do have to watch out as mentioned when buying for the 13's. See if you can google or web the install instructions...coming up that much you may need a windshield adjustment...

Yup, I have already checked with all the site sponsors, they only make them up to 2012...nothing for us poor 2013 people. Why did BRP have to mess with the handle bars?!! Come on site sponsors, make something for us! haha. I don't want to have to figure out how to order and install the 2013 ST handle bars...

I installed ST bars on my 2013 RS-S. Wasn't all that hard to do....In fact I would say it was easier than installing any kind of aftermarket riser/bar.

I am thinking the risers where you cut the handlebars may actually work as it seems the bar seems to be the same diameter on the 2013 as the previous years just not designed the same, but I worry about the cable length so I am waiting for someone else to do it first.

Do you have instructions on how you did it and pics plz? how much closer do the ST handle bars come to you than the RS ones? Where did you order your handle bars from? Looks like this is the way I'm gonna have to go :(

I didn't take any step by step pictures. I can look at my old notes and tell you more precisely how to do it. Basically all you have to do is remove the plastic trim center piece that bolts under the steering bar, there are two 8mm bolts that are hidden up under there a 1/4 inch drive ratchet with 3 inch? extension work well. Remove left and right plastic trim covers from under steering bar. Unbolt left and right handlebar grips (4 bolts each side) Remove ignition cover. Unbolt ignition switch. Release frunk control cable. Remove 4 steering bar bolts.... Bolt in new ST steering bar. I paid $166. for the ST-S carbon black steering bar, $12. for the left and right plastic trim covers, I ordered everything from BRP online. I don't remember how much closer the ST bars were but my wife and I thought they were like night and day better than the RS-S bar was. Easier than it sounds.

What a joke

Well I asked the ebay seller the question if they were sure this would fit a 2013 RS and if this was a new product. Their reply: This is not a brand new product to our knowledge. We do not have any images of the item actually mounted, many of our images are provided by the manufacturer as stock images as we have over 250,000 items and it is difficult for us to take pictures of every single item we have in stock. Please let us know if we can help you with anything else.

So that to me means they have no clue if this will actually fit a 2013. if you don't know for certain then don't advertise that it does! already got screwed over on one site for that exact same reason...thus the reason i'm hesitant to buy anything for my spy cuz i really never know if it will fit or not!
