• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What do/did you do for a living?

Pastor of a small local church for the past 9 years but you would never guess that was the case if you saw me, at least that's what I have been told by members of this site whom I have met...lol...the one exception was Pastor Chuck since he was one of my instructors in Bible College.:2thumbs:

Now I get my granddaughter ready for school in the morning, take her and pick her up.

When the weather gets a bit warmer I will be spending more time putting miles on my :spyder2:.

I watch dirty jobs on TV and I watched the Poopy Plant episode - it's amazing what people put down toilets!
 
Managed a big horse stable and trained horses. When I retired from that, I trained dogs for a while after apprenticing with a top dog trainer. Now, officially completely retired.
 
Old fashion barber for the past 50 years. Open at 4:00 a.m. Monday thru Saturday til 6 p.m. Shop located outside of Ft. Dix/McGuire AFB and have cut the hair of the military from all over the world. Don't know how I got mixed up with all you intelligent people!

I've been teaching (wood shop, art, computers) 7th and 8th graders for 33 years and counting. At 13 & 14, they know everything. I can easily tell when there is a full moon without even looking outside. Yes, they really are affected by it. I hope I can retire in 5 years, if I could just stop buying toys.

Bet you learned a world of information over the 50 years as a barber. I don't judge people by their IQ, but how they treat others.

So true! My wife is in her 34th year of teaching, and she remarks about it, too.

I am a civil engineer. Been working last forty years in this profession in different areas of practise. Three (3) more years to go before my wife and I both retire. Plan is 6 months in San Diego and 6 in Michigan. :2thumbs:
