• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I was on a Suzuki GS 450
Vetter Quicksilver fairing
Homemade lowers
Rear trunk from JC Whitney
Hard saddlebags of unknown origin... :opps:

I had a lot of fun and learned to respect the street on that bike...

It has been more than 30 years ago, But my first ride was a 1937 Indian Chief. Hope to post MyFirstRide.jpgpicture.

30 years ago I was putting on 2-3,000 miles a year, on a 15 speed custom made touring bike. The builder was Matt Assenmacher of Swartz Creek, Michigan, who has made bike frames for past world champs. I was not one of them.

30 Years ago, Let's see, I have underwear older than that, Socks also;)'
But if remember correctly, I was riding a Honda 400?? and a CB750.:dontknow:

'81 Virago 750, '79 XS 650 Special with an 850 kit on it, Maico 360 wide barrel, Maico K 501. I was kind of into bikes.

December 1981. Took delivery of my '82 Aspencade, the first one delivered in Tennessee.

Couldn't wait to get it pin striped.

Notice the arm rests I fabricated from tubular steel that I had chromed and bolted to the top of the side cases.

Good ride!!

That one took some head scratching...there have been so many. At that time it was a Honda 750F SOHC four banger, and occasionally my Honda 305 scrambler.

I believe I was on my 3rd bike at that time, a 450 Black Honda. It was a stock bike with no mods at all. I believe I had it for about 3 years and was only riding about 4,000 miles a year. The guy I sold it to crashed it about 1 week after he bought it.....he went over an embankment somehow and totaled it. I really felt bad about selling it to him when I found out about the crash.:(

I was still riding my first horse. He was a 16.1 hand Grey Thoroughbred/Saddlehorse gelding. Lance

He was better for my riding than any instructor. I was so overmounted when I got him. But, I learned so much because of him.

30 years ago i was riding my other tryke a BIG WHEEL !!!! ha haha

but like 8 years ago I started on a 1999 Gsxr750 and this summer I got rid of my 2005 Yamaha YZF-R6 for my Spyder ;P

i think it was this one or that one i traded every yeay.
