• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your spyder today?

Just put two light strips under the wifes seat on her new RS to make it stand out from the rear and I must say it stands out. jc

Rode mine to my 6 month dental cleaning and then rode it home in the rain, how fun our weather here has been real sucky.

Believe it or not, I didn't install any more lights. :roflblack:

I did install some BRP Billet Aluminum pieces though, and am waiting on a couple of other things to arrive.

Oil and filter change- changed the oil plug too. Replaced exhaust gaskets but they were in pretty good shape.

i gave it a glance....expelled a heavy sigh...and took the cage to work..(thunder storms):(

Gorgeous day here in Albany,NY....Took her out in the morning to get some hours under my belt..Wanted to get confidence riding in city traffic and then some time in the subburbs as well....Coming from a motorcycle need to adapt to a new riding style..Love it!.......

Backed both RT's out of the garage this morning and my wife and I headed towards Bogart, Georgia where there is supposed to be a car show today. Drove all over Bogart (you do this in about six minutes) and could not find the church where the show was supposed to be.

So, we headed west toward Dacula, Georgia where another show was advertised to run from 1 pm to 6 pm. Along the way we stopped at a MacDonalds where the RT's attracted a crowd of lookers and askers. (I call them askers when you get questions like.... "why does it have three wheels?"; "Is it legal to run on the highway?", "How fast will it go?", etc.)

As we pulled into the parking area where the show was being held our temperature (ambient) gauges both read 101 degrees. There were eleven cars on display... I guess most folks decided the heat was too much for them. Drooled over a Viper, scrutinized a cherry '55 Chevy, oogled an RX-7 with a Corvette engine and then headed home.

140 miles in very, very hot weather. Good to be home in the AC. I think we're getting Wussy!

Put another 120 miles on my Spyder in sweltering heat today in search of new mods. :D Came up empty handed on that search, but did find a nice new pair of ryding boots.

Today was a great day. Went for a ryde with an another spyder ryder. From Austin to south of San Antonio. Total roundtrip 223 miles. No problems, learning to build trust in my spyder.

New Spyder

Finished the install of the BRP backrest and ordered the sidecases today for a trip coming up. Rode the RS with my wife for a short backroads jaunt. Her only 2nd time on the Spyder. We will be taking about a 1500 mile ride through No. Calif. Any suggestions for a passenger who is new to riding on the back of a bike? We will be camping along the way.
