• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Saw this type of thread on other motorcycle forums and figured I'd start on here...
Today I hooked up leads for a battery tender since later this week it will be getting cold.

Veteran's Day parade

Had to layer up..but always love saluting our Veterans on their day on the Spyder, in a parade. Yep a day done right!!

I got the :f_spider: out and rode about 80 mi, that cold front Is supposed to hit southern Ohio tonight, so my riding will be over for a while..

Put new front tires on my 2013 RT-S with 20,019 trouble free and wonderful miles.

Edit: I meant to add that I probably could have gotten another 2,000 miles on these tires. However, Cindy & I are going down to Ft. Lauderdale and then on to Key West for the "spyder cruise" coming up in early December. I thought it a good idea to go ahead and put new tires on now.

I left home around 11 AM. Went to Frederick MD for some blodd tests, then rode back roads into Virgina, to Gore, VA, where I could fill up with 93 Octane ethanol free gas . . . then headed home . . . it was a beautiful day to ride . . . rode 138 miles, altogether, and rolled over 10,000 miles, 8.6 mi;es into the ride!

Today I went to gas up my Spyder only to find that the seat release cable had busted in the middle. So I have my Spyder half naked getting ready to take it to the Spyder hospital to have the cable replaced and as long as it is there, I will have them check it over and adjust the belt tension. Not exactly what I was planning for today! :(

I took some back roads to the Jack Daniels distillery in Lynchburg, TN and returned home by other back roads. It was only 140 miles but was quite enjoyable. The leaves in this area are about as colorful as I have ever seen them.

12V Sockets

Installed two 12V sockets. One in each front speaker grill. Using one for my GPS and the other for electric vest.

I looked at it pulling in the garage. :doorag: It is raining with falling temperatures, guess I made the right decision this morning. Time for an oil change, might get to it this weekend. :roflblack: Think I'll head over to the Legion and have a beer or two with the boys.

Looked at the extended forecast, shivered and told the Mrs we gotta ride! 100 mi round trip through Litchfield County and back home this afternoon. Rode some roads for the first time, would have been nicer if the sun was out but the temps made for nice riding.:2thumbs:

since it was 80 degrees here today I rode my Spyder to Hooters for lunch today... and after that... I filled up the tank with gas for the next ride.. prolly Saturday.. :D
