• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What color are BRP Xenun headlights ?

Does anyone know what color the lights are on the optional xenon headlights ? I'm looking at Xenon Depot's Extreme HID Xenon upgrades to go in the factory fog lights and there is a range of colors from yellow (3000K) to blue (8000K) and several choices in between. There is even a pricey upgrade Phillips bulb for $49.99 extra. I just want to match my amazing BRP Xenon headlights so the lights match in color output. Yes, I know that the fog lights only illuminate the road immediately in front of the bike and I can live with that. I just want them to match in color after all the work involved in installing the ballasts, bulbs, and wiring. Any experience that anyone has had with this product will be appreciated.

I believe 4300k. Without being a smartass, you ma be best to remove a bule and grab the part number and research that.

Our 2014 RTs has BRP hid's installed. My Daughters husband has done a bunch of HID retrofits. After he saw the Spyder approaching at night, he too was of the opinion 4300 ish.

For foglights, I went with Hella halogen bulbs in yellow. Kind of made matching a non issue.

Sorry I do not have an exact answer.

As a general info tidbit, most oems outfit 4300k since it is often the best color of the HID's for seeing at night. Also, new HID bulbs tend to be less white than those with time on them.

The BRP HID conversion was one of the best, mods done. Expensive but nice. Safety wise easily on par with a Bajaron anti swaybar.

As I see it..!!

most of those I see running around are bright white/blue white. Have someone knowledgeable install any aftermarket type cause there have been problems with them and the spyders electrical system...
