• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What Cleaner/Polish do you use on your Spyder?

What does everyone use to keep their Spyder cleaned and polished. I started using Black Diamond, and still do. I wonder if there is anything else out there that does not contain petroleum distillates. I was told long time ago by a mechanic at a dealership, DO NOT USE ANYTHING WITH PETROLEUM DISTILATES, especially on the plastic lenses of lights. Said that over time, it will eat the coating on the outside of those lights. That is why I went to the dealership, to see if the coating that was peeling off of my headlights was covered under warranty. So if anyone else has another product that doesn't include the bad stuff, I would like to hear.

If you go to the Search field up toward the Top Right of the page; type in 'Cleaner' or 'Polish'; tick the "Search Titles Only' box in the drop-down list; then submit the search, you'll find that the question you've asked has been asked & answered quite a few times already. If you don't think your specific question has yet been answered to your satisfaction, you are certainly welcome to add to one of the existing threads seeking further clarity, but unless it's one of the recent threads you choose to add to, you might want to address the Forum in general rather than any one poster in particular from an old thread - thread archeology is one thing, but expecting a reply from someone who last posted/visited years ago probably isn't going to help. ;)

Enjoy the reading and take your pick!
