• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What changes would you like to see?

I just read a post on here that said there are BRP employees n here anonymously. That is great hopefully this post will get noticed.
My question for spyder owners is what would you like to see out of the next new model of spyder?
Me, I would like to see a street cruiser with forward controls and what I call a "ghetto-slouch" ryding position.
Anybody else have any opinions?
By the way, I do not work for BRP. I am currently out of work (as a commercial trim carpenter) d/t surgery on my hand.

I'm pretty darn happy with the current lineup.
I'm hoping that they'll continue to upgrade and improve the breed with each passing year. :2thumbs:

BRP Make the removal and installation of the RT mirrors easier for the Common Person!!!!

2 Pins and ONE T30 Screw would be fine but DROP the 3 Pin idea???nojokenojokenojoke

I have said it before and have been shot down.

A bigger engine for the RT and possibly an additional gear.

There is always room for improvement in a line as exciting as the :spyder2:.

bigger

deffinitelly bigger, much, much more powerful engine is a must, especially for RS - thats the way to expand into young community
we dont need or tend to go rocket riding but need to stay within a frame while having fan on enclosed circuits with Pals on weekends, acceleration and top end has to go way up for young souls, can imagine such a line - R line - RS-R - Roadster Sport Race

Larger Spyder gas tank for a honest 200 mile touring range

Spyder larger gas tank (9 gal size) for a honest 200 miles touring. This change should have been incorporated in 2013 Spyders.

Changes-----

I think the mirrors should stick out further than they do- have a hard time seeing clearly behind me the way they are now.

Somethings that we add as MODS should be standard, 3rd brake light, brake on handle bars for those whose legs don't respond as fast as they get older but their hands still do!

Easier hook up for GPS if decided later to be added as well as a 12-volt plug in the dash area.

Easier servicing, better fuel economy, as well as what others have stated.

I think if BRP read some of these posts they'd have great incentive to create some newer and better updated products in the future.

4. Easier to use on the fly radio controls

5. Footboards and highway pegs available on all models

I would like the gps incorporated in the dash cluster with a bigger screen so it could be seen. Then you wouldn't have to take it off and lock it up everytime you parked.

And a Daisy 200-shot target model air rifle! (With a compass in the stock!)

Bob,
Front wheel drive isn't an impossiblility...
They've got the Commander 1000 with all-wheel drive!
That's a CVT tranny in that one, but perhaps where there's a will...
