• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What are your top 5 things before Winterization?

Blinker fluid!! Gotta put in winter-weight Blinker Fluid too!!....

But that can be hard stuff to find in Oz, so it's probly a good thing I ryde pretty much year round! :ohyea:

Once a year, you should always flush your blinker fluid. Blinker fluid is easy to find up here in the US. It's non toxic so it can be shipped internationally. I'd be happy to hook you up with some. Currently it's selling for about $28/quart and you'll need 4 quarts. Add tax and shipping and you're looking at about $450AUD. PM me if you're interested.

last year we were done on November 1st. This week looks to be in the upper 60's into the weekend. Tuesday the temps take a digger and I suspect crummy weather will follow shortly after. Once the salt flies, the bikes get parked. My storage list consists of oil change, wash, a little extra air in the tires, fuel stabilizer and top off tank after a short ride, battery tender Jr plugged in, cover, moth balls underneath, clean out all storage compartments (don't want ANY scent of food in any of them) and a nightlight nearby to keep the critters away.

Never heard the nightlight trick, I bet that works! Mice got a hold of the wiring in my ATV last winter so I will arm my garage.

Hi
I used Irish spring soap all over the bike.In the rear compartment ,frunk, under seat ,on top of engine. Critters ate the soap and left the wiring alone.
I can deal with that.
