• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We just finalized the purchase of a 2013 RTS SE5 from a 96 year old church friend who says he should probably stop driving now. He’s the original owner and it has very low miles. I’ve attached a picture of the wires, did these Spyders have heated seats? DA4793E3-1BBC-40EF-8147-F539D8E7121E.jpg

They are the wires for the Pillion Seat Sensor, the sensor that tells the computers that there's someone on the Pillion Seat.

If you've got a Pillion, the computers tighten up the on VSS/EBD/ABS etc intervention (ie make the Nanny a little bit stricter! :lecturef_smilie: ) so that you don't inadvertently over-commit in a corner or exceed the bike's braking abilities etc. There's not a heap in it, but you get a slightly stricter Nanny because of the extra load up high on that rear seat & how that changes your Spyder's handling, braking etc. :ohyea:
