• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What are these for?

The two covers next to the key have wires and a plug connected to them, I'm nosy and pried
them up looking for a place to put an aux power switch.
what are they used for? See attachment.

just a thought

they probably have something to do with the control switches on the handle bars. It may there for wiring incase the shop has to replace any harness wires. But that's just what I think they are for. Maybe someone smarter than me knows. LOL

SWITCHES

The switch to the left of the key (as you sit on the Spyder) is for heated grips. On the right of the key is for fog lights.

The fog light kit from Lamonster is really great and does indeed connect right to that wiring harness at that location. Even uses the stock connectors. Truly plug and play. Happy with mine.

If I get a fog light kit will it connect there and be where I put the switch?

If you look under the cover you'll see the wires that are plugged in to the right blank. Those are the wires for the fog lights (at least they are on the F3 Limited). Lamonts LED fog light set comes with a switch that appears OEM and fits in that right hole.
