Since there were no changes to the suspension; my guess is that you'd be happy with it's addition to your bike.
Backrest seem to help an awful lot. BRP has improved theirs, by finally offering some adjustability to it.

Bumpskid. I keep testing mine.:banghead: It continues to work. Get an alignment. Makes a world of difference .
