• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What are the 2016 RT Limited Upgrades?

Guess...

you saw what we saw at Sturgis....the rest is yet to come. So far it's looking like color changes but you never know....:dontknow: could be :yes::yes:

2016

If the full line up is anounced on 9/21/15 when do they start showing up at the dealership? also an update the 2015 f3s is listed for 18.999 at a dealership in
White Bear lake in Minnesota if you look for Can Am dealers in Minnesota you can find them.

There is always a lot of speculation that goes on this time of year.

Most are saying--probably not model changes. Last year BRP introduced the 1330 three cylinder engine as well as the F3 cruiser model. The RT models also ended up getting the three cylinder engine.

The pattern in the past was to change up a couple colors on each version, following a new model.

The Sturgis presentation gave us a new color scheme for the F3. Was it a big tease, and a surprise coming in September?? We will have to wait and see.

The new models seem to hit the non snow belt dealers in the later part of the year. Early to late spring for northern tiers. I usually get to see the new stuff in April or so.

Dealers seem to have a $1,000 rebate going on the F3 Right Now BUT my dealer has sold very few of them so I suspect at Least $3,000 rebate by Oct 1st. After ALL its called depreciation of one years time!

I test drove a F3 yesterday but the foot bars on it were in position 3 and I'm a position 4 So it was Less than Fun shifting the sm5 and Stabbing for the brake pedal after lifting the foot 6 inches?
I stopped to get gas because it only had 1 bar showing and could open the Gas Cap but I couldn't close it?
It appears when New the cap has to be pushed down Super Hard while turning the Key and I didn't want to break it So I just took the Back roads back to the dealer without adding gas because I couldn't close the cap?
I will say the engine is Great and it corners effortlessly and that the lower seating position was Fine with me on the highway or back roads- Went about 20 miles.

My plan is to Jump on a F3 (Automatic) because I think I would prefer than on this machine once the Rebates get high enough after Sep 21st?

If you want to speculate beyond color choices, my guess is the new RT's will boot the onboard electronics quicker.

Honestly though, the Triple Black F3 is the only F3 I enjoy looking at. Still wonder why BRP did not release that color package in the first year and kept it for every year until they stop making F3's. Even F3's with tasteful solid colors accented by black, chrome or complimenting trim color would be better than some of the color schemes of last year.

I doubt it will happen, but if they came out with an oem belt vibration reduction device, that would be welcome by many. Especially if it could retrofit earlier years with the 1330 engines.

What did you see at Sturgis? I was in Dallas during that time and missed it.

Smoke and mirrors and an F3 phantom style. Mixed black finishes...that's it....nice but geared for the event...

Looking to get the 2016 Model in Aug when the price starts to Dip. What is new on the 2016 model?

Well..!!

not enough to make one wait when great deals can be made on the current model now... if you saw a color you really want hang in there...:ohyea:

Does anyone know specifically know what were the upgrades other than the Blue color to the 2016 RT Limited? Any better Radio? Bluetooth?
Website is hard to tell.

Since the '16 operator's guides aren yet available the most reliable source might be a big dealership's sales or parts guys. Call Pitbull Powersports. If they aren't in the know everything we hear is just rumor.

if you get some accessability up side to a 2016 that's great. But you should probably
be prepared to get the same dismal OEM sound that comes on these.

Fortunately, having heard about it here.... the aftermarket has a cure.
