• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What are our Extended warranty choices?

I am close to reaching the end of my warranty and am familiar with the BEST warranty and the current cost from iMotorsports.
For those of you who have purchased an aftermarket policy, what was the price and duration, and have you had to utilize the policy?

Thanks, johnv

I bought one from Zurich. That was 9 years ago so I don't remember what the cost was,
but it was for 2 years and yes I used it and they were very good to cover my replacement compressor. Fifty-dollar co pay and they covered the rest. I bought it because when I bought my Spyder it was out of warranty and previous owner had not opted to buy a BEST warranty. BEST is the best way to go.

First time buyer and just purchased a 2021 Spyder RT Limited from my dealer. Also purchased a 3 year extended warrenty unlimited mileage and it cost $1999. Company is Aegis.

I purchased a "RPM" warranty from my dealer. Seven(7) years, 0 deductible, $2100.... Have used 4 times now. And still have another 2 years to go. Tom :spyder:

I just spoke with Imotorsports and they informed me that BRP just raised the price on the 3 year extension to $765. Seems like that's the way to go.

iMotorsports seems the best with a 2-year warranty for $671.

That would be for (3) years, so (5) total.

Not if you got the complimentary extra year of warranty like I did (so 3 total). This was a sales promotion in early 2022. Then the extended warranty available is only two years because BRP only allows 5 years total of the BEST warranty. I paid $571 recently to my local dealer for the extra two years because that is what iMotorsports was charging at the time.
