• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What Amp/fuse size to usb in frunk?

I forget which fuse powers the usb in the 14-19 RT in the frunk. I don’t want to just start pulling each for the fun of it. I remember having to remove the entire front, cut the zipties behind the frunk and simply clip the two wires that were zip tied to the frame to the usb socket. I think I had to remove one fuse and put in another slot I think. It was 1 number apart I think. It was 4 years ago. Which fuse number is it, anyone remember? I did a search and for some reason I can’t find any. I remember there being many posts about it when I did it. What fuse size is it also? 5 or 10? The reason I’m asking is I’d like to cut the positive to the usb, split it and power a set of 2 amp rivco spots so they come on when the machine key turns. Usb should be no more than 2 amps and the rivco spots are 2 amps. 4 amps is nothing unless something else is with the frunk usb. I’d like to pull the fuse and see what else if anything goes out. No need for an additional switch on the dash or direct run to the battery to power these spots in my opinion. Their online instructions show direct battery power to a new button switch on the dash. I want them on at all times I think. My other option is to tap into the fog lights. Since those are going to be leds the amps have to be cut in half I’d assume. Therefore the built in switch for the fogs souls also run the spots.

Another option, run a wire with inline fuse to a relay directly from battery. Run the relay to the 2 lights and use the usb as the switch for the relay. That would work I think too.

Forget that I still need switch

The fuse in position 6 is on with the ignition. Fuse in position 7 is powered all time. I believe it is a 5 amp.
The fuse is in the front right fuse block in the frunk.
