• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What am I doing wrong?

Trying to install the smooth spyder belt tensioner. Appears to be an easy installation but having problems. I adjust the bracket so that with a level on the pulley it is parallel with the belt but every time I tighten down on the bracket it moves and gets off. About ready to throw something at the wall so figured I would ask some opinions of people that have done the install and let it set for a little while.

i had the same problem so i put a small spacer behind the bolts and tighten and it stayed in place now for about couple thousand miles. no problems now Good luck.

Um yeah. I vaguely remember trying to get the level just right and then pretty much eyeballed it and called it good enough. And it works great without any adjustments since the initial install. I checked on it constantly for the first bunch of rides and now I just forget its there.

I wish I had my ramps back when I did this install but it seems to have worked out good. Im happy with it.

Well I think I got it close enough. Went a couple miles down the road and seems to work good. Got up to about 80 mph and the vibration at had at higher speeds was definitely much improved. I wound up tightening down on it pretty tight and then taking a hammer and brass to the corners to tap it around till I was satisfied then tightened down a little more and it stayed. Install was very easy with the exception of the alignment and seems to work as advertised. Going to do a couple thousand miles in about 3 weeks so will really get to test it out along with the new bajaron swaybar.
