There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. What a woman wants- yep that's my wife!

A friend of mine was reading through the Chicago Tribune today and saw this. What a nice birthday present for my girl Joan Wise Bryden. Happy and proud of you baby. :doorag:

Here's the story online.

Very nice...

:agree: she will be as well known as you are....and way better looking....:roflblack::roflblack:

Unlike Joan Bryden, my wife never could handle a two wheeler well enough to ride on the road. She does very well on our RT and has totally taken it over. I have been pushed back onto two wheels. The point is, Spyders have opened up a new world to those that otherwise have missed out. Articles like this will encourage others to join the ranks. Nice job.

Neat Story

That's an interesting story. It especially gives old motorcycle geezers something to think about. I think that it's neat that Joan had that opportunity to help more women discover the joy of riding motorcycles in general, and Spyders in particular.

It's neat to see yourself in print, but one of the "downsides" of appearing in a newspaper article is that you NEVER get editing rights. I'm sure Joan would liked to have tweaked the introductory comment to her part of the article, which reads... "Some riders are not comfortable on two wheels, so one three-wheeler was included in our roundup."

But overall, it was a great piece.

It was geared, as you noted, to woman entering the world of motorcycling so this wasn't the place to scream "I choose to ride on three!" I'm good with it. We (Spyders) made the list! It will definitely catch the attention of new potential riders. The only tweaking I would have done was my age! :roflblack:

Hi Grandpot,

Re: I have been pushed back onto two wheels.

Six years ago I sold my Japanese crotch rocket because my reflexes were simply slowing down due to age & I have this problem about not wanting to die just yet. I could not stand not being on something, so two years ago I bought my Spyder. Easy solution to the problem.

I took the two wheel class. I did fine until U-turn day. One good spill and I said to myself EFF this! Took the trike class, had a blast!

I wouldn't be riding if not for trikes, and especially my :spyder2:!

Before Lamont posted this thread, this morning , I had just found his facebook page and there are some wonderful videos of Joan and Lamont ryding adventures taken recently. I normally don't watch these kinds of videos but the interaction chat on the soundtrack was like riding along .
Lamont can you please post some of those on this thread?

:agree: that it's good Spyders made the list. And you represented us well, Joan.

As to Lamont saying "what women want," I'm sure he only knows part of it. But he must be doing well enough! ;)
