We was going to Mt. Pisgah Inn for lunch on Blue Ridge Parkway, a 3 hr. ride. About 1/4 way on the ride up the back of the bike felt like the rear tire was going flat. I stopped and checked the tire and it was ok. I started out again, about 1/2 way it got really got bad. I stopped again and pushed on the back of the 2011 Spyder RS-S and the shock was shot, so I turned both of the front shocks down and made it ride able. On the way back the front wheel weights on both came off both wheels 1/2 way home. Now it was like ridding a water craft on choppy water and had to keep it under 50 mph. I even have a Guardian bell on my Spyder to keep the evil road spirits away. Well at least I didn't have a to walk home. My new shock is a Progressive Suspension 465 Series Can-Am Spyder RS Rear Shock - 400/1100 Spring Rate (lbs/in) - 465-1180 and made in the USA. This model shock is ratted a 5 stars and it's going to be here in 4 days or less and free shipping and no tax. After I install it I'll test it and write a report.
