• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What a great day

The wife unit and I took a small road trip to the show me state this weekend. We went by Pit Bull and met Len and the crew. First off what a very nice place he has put together. Secondly he spent some real time with us talking about what we wanted and our expectations of the bike?

The only other thing I can say is he made us a great offer on a 14 RT Limited and it would be the 1st Pearl White delivered. And to sweeten the deal, Lamont himself will help set up the bike so you know it's going to be done right!

If you are looking for a Spyder I highly encourage you to make a trip or call Len and talk with him. No hype, no pressure ... Just straight answers to all your questions or concerns. He isn't just trying to sell you what he has sitting on his floor so he can move inventory.

The one thing I have discovered in this journey is how important your dealer is. If it isn't put together right from the beginning then your chances increase that you might have problems. Not all dealers are created equal.

Wow sounds awesome I wish they were closer to me. To have somebody that knowledgeable and helpful would be the icing on the cake of spyder ownership.

DJ, nice to have met you two at Pitbulls (Len's) yesterday! Agree he is such a great person to deal with, which is why my dad and I travel 4 hours one way to him even for simple oil changes. Congrats on whatever you end up with and hope to,run into y'all riding in the future.

Good news..!!

love it..glad ya'll had a good trip. No need to tell us about Pitbull and those fine folks. I still think they should spread out so others can get some attention like you did..enjoy and be safe..!!

Glad you had a great experience. The initial set up seems to be more important as time goes by. Getting it right makes a big difference.

You're absolutely right about the initial setup. We've had a number of contentious discussions about heat on the 2013s. We know that both Len (Pit Bull) and his dad (Cowtown) know how to set up :spyder2:. So, here's what I'm wondering. Does anyone who bought a 2013 from Pit Bull or Cowtown have serious heat issues?

Hey Terry,

it it was great meeting you and your dad. Hope the ride home was a good one for both of you.

Hope we run into you again once we have the bike.

Sorry they are an awesome dealer but I bought my Soyder from them and it burned. The heat issues come from the factory

:2thumbs:Teddy & I couldn't agree with you more :agree:
:firstplace:Len truly is unique in the world of Spyders and is 2nd to none :firstplace:
;)when it comes to Passion, Knowledge of the Product and the ALL IMPORTANT- Customer Relations
If it weren't for Len, Teddy & I wouldn't be on a Spyder today :( & our lives would be drastically different than they are now :sour:

:lecturef_smilie:Some may think going 572 miles one way is just too far:shocked:

Well, we learned the hard way back in 2010, as the original poster stated, PROPER DEALER SET-UP can make ALL the DIFFERENCE in these machines and can either make or break your Spyder Experience. Imagine what you would do if you had so many issues with your Spyder that you had lost ALL FAITH in the Machine :dontknow: Going for a nice 1200 mile road-trip to restore that faith seems just like icing on the cake now

  Teddy & I are glad that you had a similar experience & Thanks for Sharing :clap:
