WHAT A DIFFERENCE

dropped off spyder today for 12000 mile check.... girl followed me on hers.... so i drove her back to house on hers(i refuse to ride on the back ....guy thing) so anyway what a difference between my spyder and hers ...felt like a different vehicle... the difference was amazing...
1. hand grips (i have iso grips she has custom grips but same size as factory)
2. suspension (mine is cranked all the way up hers at mid level)
3. windshield (she has chad i have factory)
4. risers (i have nmn 3" and factory 1" she has nmn 3")
5. seat (i have corbin she has factory)
the difference was amazing just goes to show you that these vehicles are one of the most personal vehicles built..... she loves hers i love mine ....

:roflblack:no....... out of the windshields we have tried i have to say this is the best after market shield ....but.....it still causes drag..... i will keep factory shield...

:agree:I rode Smylinachas to there new house Saturday about a 8 mile ride Chad 3'' Nmn risers Two and a Half Brothers and one Sister exhaust. windshield was great NMN risers awsome Risers yes next mod windshield not yet but liked it alot :clap:

I keep asking myself that very same question, why do I keep taking my spyder apart. Everything about this machine is addicting, riding it, modding it, coming to spyderlovers, everything!!

I will be getting either the 3 or 4" risers, but can't decide which one I should get. Is it a lot more comfortable with the extra inch or something you can hardly tell the difference on?

I got the three inch because I already had the 1" BRP riser, (installed when I picked up spyder, they didn't have anything else yet) If I were to do over, I would not get the BRP riser and I would just get the 4" risers. The extra length gives you some play for adjusting. For me, it was more than just rise, I wanted to angle them back towards me as well. You can position the NMN risers exactly to what is most comfortable for you and that is why they are so great.
