• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What’s this for?

Pete is correct:joke::joke::joke::joke:

If you had a manual shift :spyder2:---- the linkage would be attached there.

Then again....

It is nice to know that it is there in case you ever get stuck in gear you can manually shift from there...:thumbup:

Shifter shaft used on the manual clutch/shift bikes, but I do like the PTO idea.

The first thing I thought of was a PTO also, but I've been into Jeepin' since I was a young fart. Now I'm an old fart. But I'm thinking about conjuring up a kind of collapsible Suicide Shift Handle to stick on that shaft, just in case?

Someone used vise grips as an emergency fix at a rally a few years ago. Got them to a gas station.
