• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

West Coast Spyder Event... interested??

Thank you for letting me know about the issues with the site and the Red Lion... I will talk to the appropriate person to get this issue resolved.

The site should be okay now, let me know if it is not.

Looks great now thank you! :spyder2::thumbup:

You have to register for a particular ride when you come to check-in on Tuesday. That's an incentive to show up early so you can get in on the ride you want. I have a feeling that one will be popular.

I will send you a PM once I spoke with someone about the Red Lion reservations. We have a signed confirmation from the hotel.

Awesome... Sandra and I are driving down on Monday and plan on staying Mon-Tues-Wed night there, drive out Thursday (After the good byes) to go meet a lot of family in the Redding area for the rest of the week :2thumbs::doorag:

I'm not sure if I'm registered or not. It said the registration was received, but when I went to pay only US, not Canadian, paypal was accepted. I have purchased lots of American products and this is a new one on me. Anxiously awaiting confirmation, will pay by any method!

I got your registration form. I have fixed PayPal to accept payments from Canada so you should be able to do it now. I sent you an e-mail.

Thank you all for making me aware of the "issues". Hopefully there aren't anymore.

Thanx, Spydergirl! Money sent. I got the same run-around as IWN2RYD at Red lion. Weekend people there. Nobody knows anything. Apparently, we have to contact sales manager David Campbell on Monday.

Red Lion didn't have the information in the computer yet. I got confirmation from another individual that they were able to make the reservation with the group rate today. The manager had been on vacation last week.

Cool! We will call today...

BTW I just submitted this event in my CAN AM log in on the BRP site and the Calendar here :spyder2::2thumbs::doorag:

Just booked at Red Lion. Folks there aware of event now. Thank you, Spydergirl, again for your assistance. Deanna and I will see you in August!

Excellent. Glad to hear. See you in August!! :2thumbs:

And if you wanted t-shirts, please make sure you add that to your cart before submitting your PayPal payment. Some of the payments we got were lacking this.

There will be confirmation e-mails going out this week as soon as my admin person (my husband) finishes going through them all.

^^^ Yepper.. Same here.. The lady I spoke to @ 7:45 am this morning said she was off on Friday and Saturday, and now the main 800# has this information under Spyder Ryders for the $109.95 nightly rate...

She connected me to the reservation line, they hooked us up with two Queen beds and a fridge... Got the confirmation a few moments later in my email :ohyea:

Really looking forward to a large gathering. Hopefully BRP will take notice and pony up some fun :ohyea::2thumbs::spyder2:

That's what we're hoping. :)

We have already had a great response to the first annual Spyders in the Redwoods event. Let's keep those registrations coming.

Registration includes an event pin, a event program with area information and event schedule, group farewell breakfast, and other Spyders in the Redwoods goodies. We are also working on having a group dinner on Wednesday night after the group rides.

So come and join us in beautiful Humboldt County California and experience the Redwoods on your Spyder. Ride choices include the scenic and famous Avenue of the Giants, the Lost Coast, and Trinity Canyon. Come and get a picture of your Spyder in the Shrine Drive-Thru Tree and hang-out with some of the coolest people on Earth... other Spyder enthusiasts!

Vendors and dealers, we are looking for sponsors and donations for the raffle. Contact us at [email protected] if you would like to help out!

Registration is from now until midnight PDT on Monday, July 11th.

You can get all of the information and register at www.spydersintheredwoods.com.

Hope to see you there!! :2thumbs:

Yes, I got on Saturday. I only check our PO Box once a week. There will be three Avenue of the Giants rides leaving at different times (8, 8:30, and 9am). Call me when you get in town and I'll let you know which time is available. E-mail me at [email protected].

Aww... that's too bad. Make sure you take a ride down Avenue of the Giants as you pass through. From the south you'll exit about 20 miles south of Eureka. The route follows 101 approximately 30 miles.

If you have time, stop in Eureka and then head over to the Samoa Cookhouse for a good meal.

Maybe we can hook up for lunch when you pass through the Bay Area. :)

We'll catch you next year.
