• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We're Shopping Tomorrow...

Thanks for the GREAT picture!

(It fits even better, when it's on the wheels... :D)
Question: did you need to use any extra ramps to lessen the attack angle? :dontknow:

Yes, I needed to make an extension to the ramp

Thanks for the GREAT picture!

Question: did you need to use any extra ramps to lessen the attack angle? :dontknow:

i had to attach 3 -12in. Post that I attached to the top outside edge of the ramp door then get a heavy duty piano hinge to be able to swing out a 4 ft. extension to my ramp. That made the break over angle work. I haven't taken a pic yet but I will next time I have it out.

By the way: what rig is that? I see a sink and some other goodies that tells me that it's a major upgrade to what we've got... :2thumbs:

A small hint:
If you have Etrack and you pull the machine in first and then attach an anchor to the center track for the back wheel..........you might want to take the center anchor OFF before pulling it out. Mine made a horrible scraping noise going across that anchor; was fine with it off.
I'm afraid to look and see how bad the scratch really is. :yikes:

It's a 2016 Crossroads Model 2788RR

its nothing fancy at all. It's a 30ft. toyhauler that uses the rear dining area as the garage area. I've owned it for 2years now and have used it for 9 trips so far. Works well for us so far.

My advice too--talk to a tax advisor who is at least a practicing CPA to make sure you are legal in your particular endeavor. I might even suggest a second opinion.

Bob, you can always use it as your office, so that way you should get close to the six months needed for a tax deduction :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Nice rig

 I'll get you all some pictures: I promise!
But Friday evening we were picking apples in our tiny 4 tree orchard, and I took a nine-foot backwards fall off of a ladder... :banghead:
As near as I can tell: I smacked down hard over just at the base of my right shoulder blade. My head didn't make any dents in the rocks, so I think that it never did anything to break my fall...

So I feel like crap, and I think that I've got a busted rib or two (No emergency yet...) I'm sort of taking it day by day with the pain.

But we DID set up for some driveway camping![/QUOTE

[SUB]Geez Bob, been away for a few days, come back and see that you've taken a backwards swan dive off a ladder! Bubble wrap.....I'm thinkin' a BIG roll of bubble wrap. [/SUB]:lecturef_smilie:[SUB] My Honey fell off a ladder last year - - it seems he thought it was better for him (69 years old) to get up on a 2 1/2 story roof instead of the younger (35 yr old) EMPLOYEE that he told to HOLD THE LADDER and as he was falling - he heard said employee TALKING ON HIS CELL PHONE...... [/SUB]:yikes:[SUB] I still [/SUB][SUB]don't know how he managed to walk away with only a a few sore ribs and a H-U-G-E bruise that covered one side of his body, but he did. Needless to say, we had, shall we say, a long conversation[/SUB][SUB] (okay, more than a "conversation") because this [/SUB]:bdh:[SUB] was what I really wanted to do to him) and it was mutually agreed NO MORE CLIMBING ON LADDERS. Said employee, by the way, was "promoted" to "shovel operator" for the remainder of the summer. [/SUB]:bdh: And that's what I wanted to do to him, too - - MEN!!![SUB]

But seriously, congratulations on FINALLY getting the new toy - - man, that's quite a rig! And what a story; but I'm sure it will all be a worth it when you're traveling and enjoying trips during the upcoming fall season. Hope you're on the mend and ready to "ROLL."
[/SUB]
:2thumbs: So [SUB]NOW, you're in waiting mode AGAIN for the "other" new toy! [/SUB]:banghead: But once you get the F3, you'll be set! Drive it in good health!!!

[SUB](Sorry to hear about your Dad and his health. Both my parents are gone now - Mom passed in January and it's been a blessing she's no longer suffering, but hard because your Mom is the first person you loved. May God bless you all.)

I guess I'm having a "late life crisis" because I can't READ any of your post.....except the graphics. :lecturef_smilie:

If you MUST screw with the font size, please don't make it so small.
Thank you.

Another request from a vision impaired reader. I already have the screen size set to 125% and have much difficulty trying to read. One look, and I gave up on this one. Sorry.

Easy Rider did blow it up for us...
(I'm at 133% on my screen... :dontknow:)

I am much appreciative--because I am in a lazy mood this AM. Got woke up by my cellphone for a call from a person that I don't know. My track phone makes a loud announcement prior to the call that I can no where find the answer to shut off. That's what I get for buying a cheap phone. :roflblack::roflblack:

On on a previous thread a member insisted I was yelling due to the fact that my posts are done
in a large font size.
but as I had stated many many many posts ago, i use the large font for all the older eyes.

Your font is GOOD. If you were "yelling" you would have to add the bold as in "font for all the older eyes." Just a nuance of posting. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:
