• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got this from the Tom McGrath’s Motorcycle Law Group Mailing List.

My email has been blowing up with a story that is circulating on the internet, purportedly from the Washington Post, claiming that all registered motorcyclists in the U.S. are on an FBI gang list. The story goes on to say that motorcyclists are 67% more likely to be involved in illegal activity.

This is not a Washington Post Story. I had my paralegal (who is an amazing cyber-sleuth) track it down. The story originated from a website called the National Report. This is a satirical website. It is a false story from a not so funny website.

Lest anyone think motorcyclists are being specifically targeted on this website, here are some other headlines from the National Report:

Well what isn't a spoof, is that if you have a foreign bank account and need to report it to the treasury dept. FBar is the form, you now send it to their criminal division. Thanks to this administration just having money outside the country makes you a criminal. OF course if you file the form correctly you are totally legal So far that doesn't put you on the "no fly list".:sour:
