• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well, It happened this way...

Bruisersbaby had an idea this morning that she wanted to look at an RS. She says since she mostly drives solo around town she thinks an RS is for her, and we can ride two up on the RTS on long rides. So after breakfast off we go to the dealer. She on the RTS and me on my Vulcan, which hasn't been out of the garage in months. So we get there and she starts looking at RSs and I'm drooling over the Victorys. There's a neutron green and a black one. The owner comes out and talks about the RS, how much difference in price between the 2 tone and the standard black one. He mentions risers, bags, sound etc. The talk then turns to comfort, pricing again, how much she likes the RTS and so on. Then we're talking SE v SM. She likes the SM since that's what we already have. Then somehow, and here's where I get lost:hun:, the talk turns to HER RTS and My RTS. :dontknow: Next thing I know, he's showing us numbers for a 2012 Viper Red RTS SM5 with trade on my Vulcan. Since we've already purchased there and we get the RTS service there, and he says we're ambassadors for his dealership, he knocks off delivery, set up and other stuff AND gives me more for the Vulcan than what I paid for it. Bottom line is the 2012 comes out way less than what we paid for the 2010 new. So to end this novela, there is a 2012 Viper Red RTS in the garage now along with the 2010 Orbital Blue RTS. And I'm still trying to figure out how all this happened. :shemademe_smilie:

Nice !

I guess we say congrats to your wife

Glad the dealer took care of a good customer .

It's female logic...:dontknow: Give up! That's what has always worked best for me. Otherwise I'm up late at night getting a headache!

It was ultimately his decision to trade in the Vulcan. He looked good on the Vulcan, but looks even better on the red Spyder!!

It's always our decision. We are just not always able to understand how we got to it. It's like a fog comes in, we do the thing and when the fog clears the details of how we got there are lost. But the wife always assures us that we made the right decision. And if we don't think about it too long it all works out.... I think...
