......BUT: Well as the Spyder is still under a warranty I got my dealer to come over to fit the BajaRon swaybar.
This guy has done many before and without the aid of a jack did the whole job in a bit under 40 minutes.
Took the Spyder out for a run and after a few miles acclimatization I had it down pat.
I've since done a couple of hundred miles and I have to say that new sway bar has transformed the trike.
Having a frequently painful and delicate lower back, I can now corner confidently without having to 'climb'
down the side to get round a curve. We have plenty of real twisties in the UK and ending up on the wrong
side of a narrow road after a sharp corner is extremely undesirable! Most of the time you can't see if anything
is coming the other way and so staying on your on side of the road is absolutely essential! Otherwise you may be
getting very closely acquainted with the front end of a farm tractor/boy racer/ heavy truck!!!
I think the front shocks are still a little under-damped on my 2010 RS-S so mebbe get some different ones later.
