• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well guess what everyone - My Spyder is OUT of Hibernation!!!!

They do need hibernation and I can't bear it. :ohyea:
Yea, they do require hibernation.

But after the spyder motorcycle season is over, ( in the fall) the spyder goes back into hibernation, then I go right in the sled season.

When the sled season is over,( in the spring) I go right back into the spyder season.

Some here also

It is nice to out again. Just need the rest of the crappy weather to pass and then it will be smooth riding......who am I kidding. The shape of the roads out here is ridiculous. Pot holes that can swallow a full sized truck. :gaah:

Some of our favorite roads here also the rain has lot down to 1 lane due to landslides, been out about 3 weeks now and it does feel good

Motorcycles don't hibernate in Florida. We ride them all year long. Very few really cold days in the winter. At times on a rare cold day I have to dress where I look like the Michelin Tire Man, but I will ride anyway. Some years the toy ride in December is t-shirt weather, some years you need long johns and a jacket. It never gets to cold or wet to ride.

Well up here in the Northeast we have hibernation for the spyders, say from Oct. to April.

Once the spyder is in hibernation we get the sleds out.( from Dec. 15th to middle of March) the snowmobile season and the trails open up on Dec. 15th and close April 15.

Yes, I am aware of that. My son lives in upstate NY. I will visit him in the summer, but not in the winter. It wouldn't be considered hibernation, it would be more like the annual migration.

I wasn't sure if you knew that or not. Sorry!

Ok
