There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
Just a note - It's best not to ask 'support questions' like that in your post above here in the 'Welcome' section/sub-forum - there's other sections/sub-forums that are more often visited by readers, where you're far more likely to get find/get a helpful response.
I'd suggest that you would be much better off searching for an existing thread/answers on that 'sprag clutch tool' question in the Technical Support Forums first (it ALWAYS pays to search first, cos there's really not too much about Spyders that hasn't been at least been touched upon since 2007/08, when they first hit the streets and this Forum first started! ) and if you can't find an answer already here on the boards, then start a new thread asking that, probably the RT Shop Talk sub-forum would be best place to do that! (See the link below.)
Only if you do need to start a new thread, then please, try to briefly ask your question in the title - it makes it much more likely that you'll get useful responses now if readers can see basically what you want from a thread without them needing to open it first (cos many just won't open them otherwise! ) and it will also help anybody/everybody searching for years to come! Here's the link to that sub-forum.

And given that you're asking about a 2010 RT, one of the older (and IMHO, much more exciting and all round betterer! ) V-twin powered Spyders, it might also help if you include that info in your thread title, and it's also a great idea to add that info to your sig line (like mine has been, see below this post. ) Check out the Sticky linked below for info on doing that, page #7 has details on how to get it added to your profile on this new platform.
One off our members has sent me a private message requesting the following:
Would you ask all members to provide information about their Spyder/Ryker year, model in their signatures.
This will go a long way in helping people determine a good answer to questions that get posted, and do not appear in a specific forum for the product.
This will provide a quicker and more accurate reply in quite a few situations.
