So we left this morning to meet some of our club to volunteer at the semi annual dorm BBQ on base. On the road about 10 minutes, a very loud squeal emanated from my RT. I thought oh no, rear bearing, but the sound didn't change pitch with speed. Turned the radio down, no screen warnings. Pulled over, the sound still there, loud as ever. Turned the bike off. Sound stopped. Started the bike up, no squeal the rest of the day :hun: Thinking it may have been a rear speaker. The wife was behind me on her Spyder and she heard it. But there's more. We met the rest of the folks going with us. I was leading them out to the base. The wife was tailgunner. We get to our destination and she said that her steering suddenly got "hard" comin g out of the mall parking lot and she had to push and pull hard. I took hers for a run around the base and yep, it was hard to steer in turns. You could actually feel it "push" back in a turn. Again, no orange screen warnings at all. Just hard to steer. So we parked it. We were at the function for 3 hours. We got ready to leave, I drove her Spyder, she drove mine. No problems with the steering. Normal as ever. Tried to duplicate the problem, didn't happen. :dontknow: Tomorrow I'll be looking hers over. Checking everything I can.
So, has anyone else run across anything like this?????
