• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Weight loss advice?

OK, now that I've got your attention... I'm talking weight loss for my F3S, not me (that's a whole separate subject, LOL).

I think F3's are pretty lean right from the factory.

But I'm seeing a couple of things that can be deleted right off the bat. The cat converter and the rain diverter flaps on the frame behind the front fenders. I've read Lamont's comments about removing those not being detrimental to the Spyder, and I tend to think he knows what he's talking about ;).

Curious if removing the cat converter will void the warranty; also how much "dirtier" will the Spyder be for the environment? I've put a bunch of miles on my Ryde so far and plan to do much more Ryding in the future, hoping not to stink up the Earth too much while I'm at it.

Gotta keep the back seat, back rest and windshield. And I can't think of anything else that looks like it can go right now...

Any other suggestions for the weight loss program?

Depends..!

the cat and exhaust would knock off about 50 lbs...:roflblack: seriously but then how much weight are you looking to loose..?? You can loose the rear fender and support system with a few mods. There is more depending...

Any weight you're able to shed is going to be so minimal I doubt you're really going to notice any sort of improvement.

The cat weighs 16.7 pounds and stock exhaust weighs 10.7lbs. A TwoBros exhaust weighs a little over 6lbs.

Are there any front-end suspension parts available in titanium? :dontknow:
I took one of my snowmobiles on a serious weight-loss plan, and dropped 64 pounds off of it...
LOTS of titanium, composite skis, and a one-off custom lightweight seat!
