• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

trailer

my inquiry to you is why are you going to put the Spyder on rear tire first ?

the added stress on the windscreen if you have a large type might cause damage

also it places your gauge cluster in the line of fire from road debris and or pounding from heavy rains

other than that looks good

remember the placement of the spyder on the trailer you want to have more weight in front of the tires than the back to keep from having adverse towing situation

REAR-WARD MOUNTING:
1. a boat trailer is perfectly configured for mounting a SPYD3R rear first.
2. i have a custome fitted cover which will negate any issues with wind.
3. the front wheels of the SPYD3R are the same width as the wheels on the trailer, so if i mounted it front first, i would need to ride over the wheel fenders, and would also need to
add panels to the sides of the trailer forward of the fenders.
4. i try to make most everything i have, at as little cost as i can. it's called: having fun.
5. i like being different.

as for weight up front, this is why my very 1st question was about the weight distribution of a SPYD3R... which was answered...

Nothing wrong with towing backwards, but the windshield should be removed. Wind pressure in revese has snapped several of them while being towed backwards. As to the cover, it is usually a bad idea. No way to get them tight enough to prevent wind whipping, and the friction of even a soft cover against the vehicle will eventually scuff the paint, upholstery, and the windshield. It is safer to clean the vehicle upon arrival than to cover it while towing. Save the cover for when you are parked at the motel. JMHO
