• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Weather Proof XM/Sirius Radio?

So...

I know about the Zumo 550 and the XM integration... But I really like my larger wide screen GPS better... and the newer Zumo 660 doesn't support XM like the 550 did. On top of that, The price for both GPS and XM antenna is pretty steep.

I found this at the Harley Dealer...Seems to be co/branded by HD, and people out there have nice things to say about it. *But it seems to mount to the handle bars/clutch and I like to use RAM mounts to keep stuff up higher in view.... I could probably get away with rigging this thing somehow....

Now... Has anyone seen another weather proof XM or Sirius radio out there?

I have a ram mount for my right handlebar. If you want me to post a pic let me know & I'll do it when I get home...

Nah... You saw mine... I use the CHAD brackets to mount a couple of RAM balls. Keeps things up in view, and stationary. Very easy to glance a few inches down and see what is up... and safer in my opinion.

I've looked for years and there are some marine units but the one you posted is about as good as you're going to get for a waterproof MC XM

I'm using a Jensen MSR2107, but it's a boat stereo that comes with a waterproof amp and would probably be too complicated an install than what you're looking for. That one you posted looks pretty nice and that's a decent price.

Looks like that handlebar mounted 'HD' one can be had for around $225 online. That's a pretty good deal. I don't think you'll find anything that good for less.
