• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Weather must be good these days and folks must be out riding. I'm used to spending my days at work keeping up with the messages here and as of the past few days or a week now they have slowed down drastically.

I hope everyone is out having fun and racking up the miles. I know I am when not at work :D

re

Z,

San Antonio, tx has perfect riding weather today and I'm finally not traveling this whole month. Trying to keep my spyder spotless for this weekends south texas Motorcycle show. I'm going to enter it in some of the contests they have. I have some of our site sponsor's cards as well as some other sites cards and information. Hope to inlarge our spyder population. I know I rarely take pictures of my spyder so, I hope to make up for the next 2 weekends. our bike nights and rallies are starting to kick off for this year, so I'm looking forward to it.

WOW you have gone all out on Mods!!!! I want to see were you mounted your Wizard Light pods I want to get more but i'm out of places that i know of to mount them. Basically i have my suspesion lit up and it glows through the fog light holes. Oh and inside each side panel. I want some under it though just having problems finding places to mount it that they shine down instead of to the side LOL

Put on over 250 miles today in 70 degree weather:2thumbs:

I have been purposely getting lost on various roads relitively close to my home -- been here almost 10 years and yet don't know the area bec ause I used to travel for business and be gone 4-5 days per week - it is really fun getting to know all the back roads - I have a couple of shockers - make a turn and 25 minutes later come out somewhere unexpected - I live in the mountains so the roads go every which way.

I rode to work today, since I leave at 6:00 I miss all the traffice here in Memphis and I will be riding everday unless it gets cold on us again.

I am truly happy that people are out and about on their Spyders but....I gotta tell ya.....your just killing Canadians with that kind of talk!
Yeah I know, we chose to live here. Someone has to stick around up here in the winter to keep the heat on!:banghead:
Max
Soon I hope!

Must be a perception thing. I was thinking that the SpyderLovers forum has been busier lately. :dontknow:

It was 77 degrees, no wind and mostly sunny here today - it's killing me (literally) 'cause I've got the flu and can't stop coughing for more than about 5 minutes at a time, so no riding for me until the lungs clear up. But at least it's a promise of good weather to come.

Take it easy. I went through that flu crap a couple of weeks ago. Took me 2 weeks to kick it(along with some powerful drugs) Besides, weather is just going to get better.

 I pick up my Spyder Saturday from the 6,000 mile service. Count me in for lots of miles over the weekend.

We have to start mowing the grass a lot sooner. :( like this weekend :banghead:

The weather?...I just ride!

Here in Vermont the temps. have been anything from 20 F and up to near 60 F, with sun, clouds and some rain. Typical Nor'east weather in March. I've been riding the spyder to work, 20 miles one way, at 3:00am in the morning, in the colder temps and return home in the warmer temps. I also have been just cruising on pleasure rides as well. I just dress right for the conditions, put on the heated apparel and enjoy the riding! These are a couple of shots of frozen lake champlain that I took on a late day ride last weekend.
