• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We pulled the trigger on a 2022 Sea-To-Sky.

Yesterday my wife and I decided to go ahead and pre-order the 2022 Sea-To-Sky.

Currently, we both have our own bikes, I have a Honda Goldwing and she has a VTX1300. We are at the age that holding up the Goldwing with both on it is getting a bit too much for me and she wants more two up time anyway. So, we decided that the RT is the best option for both of us to go two up and we can switch off driving duties when we want to.

I'm not sure this is the last motorcycle we'll own but if it is then we decided to go for the best they had to offer (from a comfort and options perspective). I'm new to the site and new to three wheels so I am soaking in all the knowledge you guys and gals have put out there.

They tell me it will be in around the June 2022 time frame but what I've read so far... don't count on it.

We live in North Carolina around the Hickory area and I hope to find some folks to meet up and ride with.

First, congratulations on your RT purchase...they are a great bike. I also went from both a Goldwing as well as a VTX1300R. I loved them both, but there comes a time...... I might suggest that you both look for and take the 3 wheel course. You won’t regret it....money well spent.

Welcome! If the ETA of your new StS is in fact June you have time to memorize the operator's guide that you can find at this link, https://www.operatorsguides.brp.com/.

You should also read the Sticky Threads at this link, particularly the Do's and Do Nots for New Spyder Owners. https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?2-Spyder-General-Discussionhttp://. A lot of the information discusses older, V-twin Spyders but there is much valuable information that pertains to anyone changing to the Y-ride.

Back in 2019 when wife and I slowly went over to the left side on our '07 Street Glide; it took us about 20 minutes to get get it upright! AND .... we both had sore backs for about 10 days!!! That's when we decided to look into the Spyder line. Traded in the HD about 10 months later to Super Bike Showroom for our wonderful 2014 RT-L (only 6,000 miles). Best move we could have made. Welcome to the Forum.

:congrats:... & ...:welcome: .... Back in 09 I had to make the same decision .... no more two wheels , look at three wheels .... I got some great advice from the manager. He said drive it like your car and you will be fine , also test how well the brakes work because you stop on a Dime ..... I was able to master the Quirks of the Spyder fairly quickly, and am now on my thrid spyder ..... good luck .... Mike
