• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We did our first Patriot Guard Ride yesterday

MOgang Member & Pyro-Man
We baked in the airport parking lot for two hours before we had the honor of escorting 170 troops to the location where they were to meet their families. There were mostly Harley's, a few Goldwings and a sport bike. We had John and SpyderLady Linda and outselves representing the MOGANG group. STL NEWS channel 5 came out for it.

:congrats:My wife (SDM) and I are both PGR members and are the only Spyder ryders in the local group, but there are other trikes and many HD's. We go on every mission we can, there all important, although the welcome home ones are more fun. I was able to go on a WWII Honor flight mission recently, it was Great!!

:congrats: on joining the PGR...........we have been ryding for about two years now. See you on the flag line!:2thumbs:

Dennis and I try to go on as many escorts as we can here. We have our first of the year tomorrow night, May 8th when we meet at Kingdom City. The busses will arrive at MN this time and we escort them into Columbia. We're expecting 300+ bikes. It's so neat to help these guys and gals off the bus and walk or wheel them into the hotel, taking them through the gathered family and friends. Such an honor. The guys have tears in their eyes and thank us but we are the ones who feel so honored to be able to do this for them. Dennis and I also ride to honor our dad's who both were in WWII.

I just joind the PGR, but have yet to go on a mission. I too am riding in momory of my father and several uncles that were in WWII

Patriot Guard Mission

I have been riding with the Guard since he mid 2000's. It really is a good feeling to know you are lending comfort to the grieving families at funerals and support for the other missions. We just did a funeral on Saturday for a 22 year old soldier killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan. Thanks for your support of our troops.

Jim

Glad you got to participate in a welcome home. All PGR missions are important. Thanks
I agree. It may be your 100th mission, but for most of the missions, it is their first and in, many cases their last.
Ride on in Honor and Respect
