WE ARE SAFE HERE NO FIRE

Hi Everyone
I have had about a zillion calls and emails asking if we are OK here in the area of California
where our home and business is located, because of all the FIRES raging right now in California.
My Shop and home are in Linden, CA that is 81 miles west of Yosemite Nat. Park
The fires closest to us are in Angels Camp 26 miles east and San Andres 32 miles south east
we have cleared anything that will burn way away from our place as has all the others around us
the brush and trees are not near at all so even if it got down here I feel we are going to be OK
the same can not be said about the friends and neighbors to the east and those in the Napa
and Lake county area to the north west, entire towns have burned Middletown is one
California Wildfires Destroied Hundreds of Structures.
About the only good thing is I guess we will not have to worry about much burning up next year because
it already is gone. So send a prayer out to those who have lost everything and pray for RAIN we need it

Is that Brice in the picture "Avatar" looks like it or maybe Cedar Brakes..... We have not made it there as yet
wife is a consultant and is super busy right now and I and am as well it will be around mid October I think.

It's been a terrible year all over the West. My heart sinks every time I hear of deaths from the fires, or all the properties destroyed.

That picture is Bryce. It was taken in August 2008 or 2009 not sure which. That jacket was destroyed in an accident in 2011.
