There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Waterproof Jeans

Lamont, stay away from that skunk and Mama won't make you bathe in the front yard before coming inside her house next time...

FYI

Still no replacement pants and I called yesterday and was told they would make a phone call to see what's going on. Today I sent an email saying either next day my pants to me or refund my money. Still haven't heard anything back. I'm pretty much done at this point.

They won't get my business. I hate runarounds!

I got a pair of pants next day as requested but as it turns out they did have a bad run of "black" jeans and they decided to send me a free pair of "blue" jeans till the new black ones show up. I'm feeling a little better about this deal now. :doorag:

The squeaky wheel gets the grease and if the black were on back order that good communication you spoke of lost credibility also. I'm still not interested in doing business with them! :chill:

Do we get to see another video Lamont? :roflblack::thumbup: that was fun. :roflblack::roflblack: I am still interested in getting some of these if they come through.

woo-hoo! Another peek at Lamont's booty! Count me in!!!:clap:

Seriously, though, thanks for testing these for us. Also, could you let us know how they feel? Do they feel like regular jeans? Are they hot or is the fabric stiff? They still wouldn't be much fun if they chafed.

Just curious....If you accidentally peed your pants would it show on exterior of jeans....:ohyea:...

Haven't had chance to try them out yet but I will post something as soon as I do. I really hope these things work and I can say goodby to rain pants. nojoke

Lamont,

I haven't been following this thread to closely. But, my question is: if someone currently wears pants with armor, this type of pants doesn't provide that type of protection? I know with a rain suit it goes over whatever you are wearing.

Thanks for the test on the jeans. I will pass on them as I am a Frog Togs lover. They work for me 99% of the time. It has already been stated where the other 1% is.
A trick to help put them on. Put plastic bags over your boots first.

Just a follow up on this product.

I got a chance to try out the "blue" pair of pants they sent me while waiting for the "black" replacement pants. I had high hope for these. They feel great wearing them and BajaRon and I got caught in a typical rain storm we have around here and for the first 15 miles or so I thought they were going to do the job. I started to get a little wet on the right leg first but it wasn't bad. The problem was by time I got home I was pretty much as soaked as I would have been with any pair of jeans, these just took longer to do so. :gaah:

So I drop a nice email to Aaron saying the same thing with the added comment "I'm sure these must work for somebody but they sure don't work worth a darn for me. Do you wear these pants? Am I the only one having trouble with them leaking? " and that's where the good communication with them stopped. I still don't have my replacement "black" pants and after two emails and a voicemail I'm not sure if I ever will. Even if I do get them I'm no longer hopeful that they will keep me dry, I'm pretty sure they won't as a matter of fact.

So I paid a $100 bucks for a black pair of "100% waterproof" jeans and I got a "blue" pair of 100% not waterproof jeans instead. As Forest Gump would say "that's all I have to say about that".

Interesting idea--but I am going to pass on these.

Its often to cool to ride here in just jeans.

I have a pair of the kevlar lined jeans--but usually wear a pair of chaps over them when riding.

I prefer the ATGATT mode for riding--but know that can be a problem when riding in areas where the temp is 90+.

Now that we seem to have settled the water proof jeans question... :D

A follow up to akspyderman: how do you like the kevlar jeans (not in a rain capacity, but just as ryding wear)? Are they reasonably useful for wearing around as regular jeans when out on the road? (Or, anyone else who has such jeans. Are these the ones from DragginJeans?)
