• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Waterproof FM Stereo

I'm guessing this is one of those deals that you get what you pay for. :dontknow:

You might be better off with a mp3 player and ear buds.

I think it's J&M that has a "Tune Bag" at 40W. Should do the trick - decent price & easy to pop off & put in the trunk....

Tunes on Spyder

This is not necessarily a cheap option but I have a Garmin Zumo with Garmin XM antena that plays into into a Nolan N Com helmet. Excellent sounds and infinite amount of tunes, talk or whatever available via XM. The XM plays through the Zumo as does a blue tooth device such as a phone.
Not cheap however but first class. I think the Zumo (which is a surperb GPS made for cycles) is in the $600+ range, the antenna another $250 and the Nolan with N Com around $700. I have had mine now for over a year so these prices might not be current. Probably less expensive options out there but what's a few bucks when it comes to toys. I'll spend now and go cheap on my casket. :roflblack:
Hope this helps.

Thanks Joe...I think I just may go this route. The videos are the selling point when I could listen to the sound quality. Where did you mount the main amplifier unit so that you could easily switch modes? Do you have pics?

I seen people electrify the OEM tank bag. What if you mount couple of speakers onto its sides and turn it into a removable stero bag? And the map pocket can be the iPod holder / display and leave the amp / tuner inside the bag.

I had an amp & speakers from cyclesounds on my Spyder. Speakers went right on the black part where the bars came out (I think there might be a thread in here somewhere when I took pics). Speakers were pretty good. You don't get a radio though - I had to hook up my mp3 player which worked great. I took it off because my 2 bros. pipe is so loud, no need for music. Now I'll use earbuds if I want tunes.

I don't have it, but noticed on the Kuryakyn web site they have a tank bag with built in speakers and connections for radio, MP3 player, etc. with storage.

Do not remember the price though.
