Yesterday wore my Ariat in downpour. Awesome boots. Also check out an overboot called Spyder Feet

Check Walmart

Have a great pair of boots that I purchased at my local Walmart. Not only waterproof, but comfortable as well. In fact, wore them all over Spyderfest and Vendor Village.

I would suggest getting a pair that bends well at the ankle. Otherwise, working the brake pedal becomes awkward.

ALTERNATIVE

If you can find them ( try e-bay ) " Totes " made over-boots ( covers ), that you put on over whatever you were wearing.......Mine are super light, stretch almost double in size WITHOUT TEARING, and will fit over anything. In the summer I don't like wearing heavy boots all the time, but also don't like wet feet. These things can be balled up about the size of a baseball, they are that thin...........I don't think they are made anymore so E-bay may be your only source..............................Mike :thumbup:

I carry a set of Frogg Legg Overshoes, by Frogg Toggs with my rain gear. I wear a pair of over the ankle leather hiking shoes and slip these over them when I need my rain gear. They work well in the heaviest rain.

My Carolina workboots are the ticket for me. Steel shank, waterproof (really) and all day comfort in or out of the saddle. I get mine at Northern Tool for about $130.00. For really serious downpours, its the overboots by Choko. My XXL fit over my size 13 clodhoppers with ease. Nonslip soles and heels.

SIDI I have several pair. Many different models. These are M/C specific and very comfortable out of the box. Waterproof or Summer Air.

TCX boots are both waterproof and comfortable. Some waterproof boots are very hot to wear but the TCX are comfortable even in hot dry weather.

I wore my 8" Redwings with Gor-tex, going and coming home and took my tennies for walking around In. The Redwings worked great as we found out, riding through a frog strangler In St. Louis..
