• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Watch out for a**holes who aren't paying attention!

Motorcycle story was sad, but the other topic about illegal mountain biking and more importantly how the president signed the documents closing all that land to all sorts of recreation seems important also.

I have a tendency to slow down some at every intersection I have the right of way and a vehicle is at the stop sign/stoplight.
 
You eventually realize that "STUPID PEOPLE ARE EVERYWHERE"!!!

You notice it the more you ride your motorcycle, and the day after Election Day.

They're stupid, they breed, and they vote.

Something needs to be done.

:agree: Would you rather be just "Right"?

Assume that the other guy WILL do the wrong thing, and your chances to survive have significantly improved! :thumbup:
 
There are those that think that at an intersection they are all 4 way stops. I'm cautious at intersections, especially those that are only 2 way stops, even with the right of way.

:agree: 100%. No one wants to be Dead Right. Speeding, Distracted drivers and MCs/Trikes are a bad combination. Too many of those on the roads today. Then the question is: how many of them are impared???????????
 
I am reminded every day I work of the hazards on the road. I work at a pharmacy. I see way too many 'impaired' people (drugged?, infirm, can hardly walk, aged, and just plain ignorant) come in, get their meds and go out and get in their cars and motor off. Scares the heck out of me. :yikes:

In VA holding a cell phone to ones head while driving is now a primary offense as of 1 July. Used to be just secondary. From observations it hasn't resulted in a reduction in DWY (driving while yakking ).
