• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

warranty question

I HAVE A 2010 RSSE5 WITH 11300 MILES ON TO DATE. MY QUESTION IS WILL THE WARRANTY COVER THE REAR BEARINGS ?
THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT :helpsmilie:

From what I understand the rear bearings are not a normal wear item and should be covered under warranty. I would contact you dealer or call BRP to verify.

On the contrary, rear bearings are considered to be a normal wear item, and are to be inspected/replaced every 12,000 miles. As close as this is, I doubt they will cover it.

+1 wear item...don't they wear out faster if the tension is too great?

I KNOW THE BOOK READS TO INSPECT AT 12000 BUT IT ALSO SAID TO REPLACE REAR SPROCK BEARING AT 31000. I HAVE NEVER ADJUSTED MY BELT. MY DEALER HAS ALWAYS TAKEN CARE OF THAT.I MAY BE WHISTLING IN WIND;). I WILL FIND OUT TUESDAY:clap::clap:.
THANKS FOR YOUR INFO.
