• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anyone know if BRP has a database that Spyder owners can access to look up the warranty expiration date?

Thanks, Russ

Factory is 2 years from date of original purchase. BEST takes over after that. BEST can be 1,2 or 3 years for a maximum of 5 years coverage between the two.

Only way to find for sure what your status is is to have dealer run your VIN....

To answer your question, YES; BRP can run your VIN and tell you all about the warranty.

To illustrate my point, I ran into a very inept F&I manager at a nearby dealer who told me, "I had to call the seller I bought the bike from to ask when he bought the bike."

Instead, I called the BRP number in my owner's manual and was told everything I wanted to know. I also was told "the dealer can do the same thing."
