• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wanted to pass on this BMW Key Cover fits on our Spyder keys :)

I got mine today. I going to be cautious about it at this pint in time; I put a ring through the end of it, and it's pretty soft. Time will tell if it's going to tear or not...

Thankx

I just ordered two

:)

Happy to help!

Also, when putting the cover on it's easier to put the metal part of the key through the center hole first then, pull the silicone around the plastic. You can get the plastic through the bottom hole but boy is it difficult!

The silicone seems to be stretchy but SUPER tough, I don't think you could accidentally break the silicone like you could accidentally break the plastic cover BRP provides.

In the US bimmerzone has free shipping so, while the key cover costs a little more you still save a buck - http://www.bimmerzone.com/BMW_Accessories_Key_Cover/AMG-BMW-BMWJ33.html

Shipping was very fast! (and the one posted above is the purple) it's not a deep purple but that photo was with my iPhone in the kitchen light so the color isn't totally true to life.

I think you'll be fine, Bob!

When I put the first one I did the square peg/round hole thing and started at the bottom. I stretched the CRAP out of that thing and you can't even tell. I think if you caught it and pulled it hard enough to break it you would know. It's not like plastic which can just crack.

Just ordered a set in orange. I have a blue spyder and this should catch my eye along with a chain around my neck

One of the members of Girls on Spyders, Christina Dale, bought a BMW Key Cover which fits our on Spyder keys. I dont know if this has been shared here yet but thought I'd share. I wanted to pass on this information in case anyone else was interested. They have a bunch of different colors. I just ordered a pink for me and a blue for Jake. Now I can ahng my keys around my neck with the paracord lanyards I make !
